ScaleFlux first introduced the SSD compute platform in 2021, and the company has now announced a higher capacity version of the CSD 3000 drives. The CSD 3000 platform itself is quite powerful, with eight ARM Cortex-A53 cores and several other accelerators.
The ScaleFlux computational storage SSDs are in full production now with a custom ASIC. This is a single-chip solution and gives ScaleFlux a space and power advantage over other solutions.
ScaleFlux is upping its computational storage drive’s capacity from 12TB to a logical 24TB.
