The OEM Sales Director will lead field-based efforts with ScaleFlux’s OEM partners (Dell, HPE and Lenovo) to drive the proactive adoption and integration of ScaleFlux Products via 3rd Party Order/Reseller agreements. This role will also manage, educate and foster interest from OEM Partner’s Sales Teams in the form of training sessions, promotions and incentives for meeting/exceeding revenue goals. Lastly, the ability to understand and champion customer-based product qualifications with the help of our technical team will expedite the cadence product orders through the OEM channel.

A solid understanding of how to “sell-with” top-tier server manufacturers is strongly desired, and excellent training and presentation skills are required. Candidate will be a subject matter expert with flash SSD’s, and the storage industry in general. ScaleFlux is looking for a self-starter that will thrive in a dynamic start-up environment. The ideal candidate will be able to discover and map out the key players in our partner OEM’s to drive joint business while minimizing the time to transact.

ScaleFlux products are designed for use in data centers, servers, and enterprise data storage environments. The focus of this role is to own and drive to successful closure of the SFX product families with our OEM partners as a fulfillment channel. This will include the need to coordinate between the OEM’s, customer and internal constituents for proactive and customer driven requirements.

  • Devise strategy for programmatic 3PO engagements with tier one OEM partners
  • Create and execute Field-based Training syllabus for OEM Channel
  • Ownership of weekly status updates
  • Interfacing with product management, marketing, and executive teams to reduce time to transact qualified business

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree • 10+ years of experience in within the Flash/Storage industry

Core Competency Requirements

  • Thorough understanding of OEM customer base and qualification processes
  • Proven experience delivering successful programs
  • Relevant high-tech experience within the server, flash storage, and/or OEM markets
  • Experience creating new relationships with ability to discover and interact with key contacts
  • Must be able to work on multiple projects independently and under constant deadline pressure
  • Strong time management skills, excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Technically savvy to understand key technology issues to drive to effective resolution of issues that arise
